At the time,the City was exploring options related to a possible relocation of offices <br /> Email: at its Cedar Street complex and wanted to leave the space that the USFS occupies at the Everett <br /> mpalacios@everettwa.gov Municipal Building as an option for City staff leaving the USFS on a month to month basis. <br /> The proposed Lease Amendment No. 13 exercises the initial 5-year renewal option term <br /> retroactively extending the lease agreement term from October 1, 2017 to September 30,2022, <br /> including a 3%rent escalation for each year resulting in a 2019 annual lease rate of$282,193.21 <br /> or$25.77/sq.ft.This Amendment No. 13 also contains a provision that allows for either the City <br /> Initialed by: <br /> of Everett or USFS to terminate the lease without cause upon 30-day's written notice to the other <br /> party. <br /> Department head Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to execute Lease Amendment No. 13 to Lease Agreement with US Forest <br /> Adminis ation Service Mt.
