JAMCO provides products for aircraft interiors, and it <br />intends to construct a new building to house manufacturing operations, including an <br />anodizing line. These operations will require the storage and use of hazardous <br />materials. The City of Everett has requested a Hazardous Materials Inventory <br />Statement (HMIS) with a comparison to IBC Table 307.1 as part of the permit process. <br />This HMIS covers the products that will be stored and used in the new building <br />and includes the following reports: <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVENTORY STATEMENT SUMMARY <br />REPORTS - compare JAMCO inventory amounts to the maximum <br />allowable quantities (MAQ) in IBC Tables 307.1(1) and 307.1(2). The <br />MAQs include the increases for sprinkler protection. A storage summary <br />report is provided for Control Area 1 (CA-1) and a use -open summary <br />report is provided for the anodizing line. <br />HAZARD CLASS REPORTS - calculate the amounts of each hazard class <br />present. <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVENTORY REPORTS - alphabetical sorts <br />by product name. Inventory reports are provided for CA-1 and the H-4 <br />occupancy. A report with all products sorted alphabetically is also <br />provided for the entire building. <br />The hazardous materials inventory was evaluated based on the building being <br />considered one control area (Control Area 1 or CA-1), with the exception of the room <br />
