JAMCO provides products for aircraft interiors, and it intends to construct a new building to house manufacturing operations, including an anodizing line. These operations will require the storage and use of hazardous materials. The City of Everett has requested a Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS) with a comparison to IBC Table 307.1 as part of the permit process. This HMIS covers the products that will be stored and used in the new building and includes the following reports: HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVENTORY STATEMENT SUMMARY REPORTS - compare JAMCO inventory amounts to the maximum allowable quantities (MAQ) in IBC Tables 307.1(1) and 307.1(2). The MAQs include the increases for sprinkler protection. A storage summary report is provided for Control Area 1 (CA-1) and a use -open summary report is provided for the anodizing line. HAZARD CLASS REPORTS - calculate the amounts of each hazard class present. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVENTORY REPORTS - alphabetical sorts by product name. Inventory reports are provided for CA-1 and the H-4 occupancy. A report with all products sorted alphabetically is also provided for the entire building.
