Explanation of the Hazardous Materials Inventory <br />Statement Summaries <br />JAMCO America, Inc. <br />IBC/IFC Hazard Classes: <br />The first column contains the International Building Code Tables 307.1(1) and 307.1(2) <br />hazard classes of chemicals. The second column contains the abbreviation for the hazard <br />class. <br />Inventory Amount (pounds, nations, cubic feet): <br />The numbers in these columns are the total amounts of each hazard class. These amounts <br />were determined from an inventory list prepared by JAMCO. <br />Amount in Table 307.1 Units: <br />In these columns, JAMCO inventory amounts are converted to units that can be compared to <br />those used in Tables 307.1(1) and 307.1(2). When the maximum allowable quantity is in <br />pounds and the inventory amount is in gallons, the IBC uses a standard factor of 10 pounds <br />per gallon of liquid measure <br />IBC/IFC Maximum Allowable Quantity: <br />These columns show Table 307.1(1) and Table 307.1(2) maximum allowable quantities <br />(MAOs) of each of the hazard classes. MAQs have been increased as allowed for sprinkler <br />protection. Summary reports are provided for: <br />1. Control Area 1 —Storage Summary Report <br />2. H-4 Occupancy — Use -Open Summary Report <br />Amount Over: <br />The 2006 IBC maximum allowable quantity for each hazard class is subtracted from the <br />corresponding JAMCO Table 307.1 units to determine it the maximum allowable quantity is <br />exceeded. Maximum allowable quantities are not exceeded in Control Area 1.
