Walls were built to 10' for high <br /> lift grouting. Cleanouts were installed at each vertical bar, and verified debris removed prior to closing. <br /> Masonry construction was checked for square, plumb, mortar type, fins, and joints, reinforcing size, <br /> grade, spacing, placement and clearance. Embedded header was verified for placement, stud count, and <br /> galvanized. Per the structural note no grout sample was required—blocks were taken to verify <br /> compressive strength per reinforced masonry materials note 5.1. Smokey Point Concrete delivered <br /> 5yd3 of grout mix PG65030. Grout was placed by line pump and was mechanically consolidated. <br /> Walls and reinforcing were free from ice/ frost/debris prior to grouting and work was covered after <br /> placement due to cold weather conditions.
