' City of Everett 00 7200-4 <br /> Diversion Dam Road Phase 3 UT 3707 & UT 3708 <br /> ' Physical Completion: Physical Completion Date is the day all of the Work is physically <br /> completed on the Project. All documentation required by the Contract and required by law does <br /> not necessarily need to be furnished by the Contractor by this date. <br /> ' Progress Schedule: A schedule prepared and maintained by Contractor, describing the <br /> sequence and duration of the activities comprising the Contractor's plan to accomplish the Work <br /> within the Contract Time. <br /> ' Project: The undertaking to be performed under the provisions of the Contract. <br /> Punch List: List of incomplete items of Work and of items of Work that are not in conformance <br /> with the Contract Documents, prepared after Substantial Completion. <br /> ' RCW: Means the Revised Code of Washington. <br /> Samples: Physical examples of materials, Equipment, or workmanship that are representative <br /> of some portion of the Work and which establish the standards by which such portion of the <br /> ' Work will be judged. <br /> Schedule of Values: Allocation of Contract Sum to items of Work as provided in 9.1.1. <br /> ' Schedule of Values. <br /> Shall: Required conduct. <br /> Shop Drawings: All drawings, diagrams, illustrations, schedules, and other data or information, <br /> ' which are specifically prepared or assembled by or for Contractor and submitted by Contractor, <br /> to illustrate some portion of the Work. <br /> Shown: Refers to information presented on the Drawings, with or without reference to the <br /> Drawings. <br /> Site: Lands or areas indicated in the Contract Documents as being furnished by Owner upon <br /> which the Work is to be performed, including rights-of-way and easements for access thereto, <br /> and such other lands furnished by Owner that are designated for the use of Contractor. <br /> Specifications: That part of the Contract Documents consisting of written descriptions of the <br /> technical features of materials, Equipment, construction systems, standards, and workmanship. <br /> ' Specify: Refers to information described, shown, noted or presented in any manner in any part <br /> of the Contract Documents. <br /> ' Subcontractor: An individual or entity having a direct contract with Contractor or with any other <br /> Subcontractor for the performance of a part of the Work. <br /> Submittals: The information required by the Contract Documents provided by Contractor to the <br /> ' Owner's Representative or Owner. <br /> Substantial Completion: The day on which the Owner or Owner's Representative determines <br /> the Owner has full and unrestricted use and benefit of the Project, from both the operational and <br /> ' safety standpoints and only minor incidental Work, replacement of temporary substitute <br /> facilities, or minor correction or repair Work remains. Determination of Substantial Completion <br /> in whole or in part is solely at the discretion of the Owner. Substantial Completion does not <br /> mean complete in accordance with the Contract nor shall Substantial Completion of all or any <br /> ' part of the Project entitle the Contractor to Final Acceptance under the Contract. <br /> Supplier: A manufacturer, fabricator, supplier, distributor, materialman, or vendor having a <br /> direct contract with Contractor or with any Subcontractor to furnish materials or Equipment to be <br /> ' incorporated in the Work. <br /> Total Float: The amount of time any given activity or path of activities may be delayed before it <br /> will affect the Completion Date. <br /> 00 7200 -4 GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />
