CITY LEASE AMENDMENT NO. 5 UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE LEASE AMENDMENT TO LEASE NO. 1204H107L0509 ADDRESS OF PREMISES: Puget Sound Interagency Communications Center 2930 Wetmore Ave., Suite 4 &Suite 1B Everett,WA 98201 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into on this date by and between the City of Everett whose address is 2930 Wetmore Ave, Everett,WA 98201 hereinafter called the Lessor, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called the Government WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend the above Lease to exercise a five (5)year renewal option and state the rental rate during the renewal term NOW THEREFORE, these parties for the considerations hereinafter mentioned covenant and agree that the said Lease is amended, effective April 1, 2019 as follows: Paragraph 2 and 3 of Lease Amendment#3 are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following; 2. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD The term of this lease shall be for ten (10) years and four (4) months and commence on June 1,2012 and end at midnight September 30,2022. Lease Amendment#5 extends the termination date from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2022.This Lease may be terminated at any time and without cause by either the Government or the Lessor with thirty (30) days written notice to the alternate party. 3. RENT The annual rent shall be adjusted by 3% each year beginning with October 1, 2017 and ending September 30, 2022. The lessor will be paid according to the following schedule.
