CITY LEASE AMENDMENT NO. 13 UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE LEASE AMENDMENT TO LEASE NO. 1204H107L0510 ADDRESS OF PREMISES: Mt. Baker Snoqualmie NF Supervisor's Office 2930 Wetmore Ave., Suite 3A Everett, WA 98201 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into on this date by and between the City of Everett,whose address is 2930 Wetmore Ave., Everett WA 98201 hereinafter called the Lessor, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called the Government: WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend the above Lease to exercise a five (5) year renewal option and state the rental rate during the renewal term NOW THEREFORE, these parties for the considerations hereinafter mentioned covenant and agree that the said Lease is amended, effective October 1, 2017 as follows: Paragraph 2 and 3 of the Lease are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following; 2. TERM The term of this lease shall be for fifteen (15) years and commence on October 1, 2007 and end at midnight September 30, 2022. Lease Amendment #13 extends the Lease from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2022. Thereafter, this Lease may be renewed one (1) additional time for a five year increment at the option of the Lessee by notifying the Lessor not less than one hundred and eighty(180)days prior to the expiration of the Option of the Lessee's intent to renew the Lease. This Lease may be terminated at any time and without cause by either the Government or the Lessor with thirty(30)days written notice to the alternate party. 3. Rent for a lesser period shall be prorated.
