CITY <br /> LEASE AMENDMENT NO. 13 <br /> UNITED STATES <br /> DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE <br /> LEASE AMENDMENT TO LEASE NO. 1204H107L0510 <br /> ADDRESS OF PREMISES: Mt. Baker Snoqualmie NF Supervisor's Office <br /> 2930 Wetmore Ave., Suite 3A <br /> Everett, WA 98201 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into on this date by and between the City of Everett,whose address is 2930 <br /> Wetmore Ave., Everett WA 98201 hereinafter called the Lessor, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter <br /> called the Government: <br /> WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend the above Lease to exercise a five (5) year renewal option and state <br /> the rental rate during the renewal term <br /> NOW THEREFORE, these parties for the considerations hereinafter mentioned covenant and agree that the said <br /> Lease is amended, effective October 1, 2017 as follows: <br /> Paragraph 2 and 3 of the Lease are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following; <br /> 2. TERM The term of this lease shall be for fifteen (15) years and commence on October 1, 2007 and end at midnight <br /> September 30, 2022. Lease Amendment #13 extends the Lease from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2022. <br /> Thereafter, this Lease may be renewed one (1) additional time for a five year increment at the option of the Lessee by <br /> notifying the Lessor not less than one hundred and eighty(180)days prior to the expiration of the Option of the Lessee's <br /> intent to renew the Lease. This Lease may be terminated at any time and without cause by either the Government or <br /> the Lessor with thirty(30)days written notice to the alternate party. <br /> 3. Rent for a lesser period shall be prorated.
