Based on that <br /> distance, the eves parallel to the assumed property line should be protected on the <br /> underside by one-hour, fire-resistive construction. Section R302.1 <br /> a) A notation has been added to the building elevation sheet and roof plan sheet (A2.4) <br /> for min. 1-Hr fire protection to underside of eves that are less than 5' from the <br /> assumed property line. <br /> 4.The two-hour walls should be shown to continue to the underside of the over-framed dormer <br /> sheathing between units 2 & 3 and 4 & 5. Section R302.2 <br /> a) Elevation sheets A1.1 show & notate the 2-hr wall to continue to the underside of the <br /> over-framed sheathing <br /> 5.An additional 20-minute door (or approved alternate) should be added to create a hallway <br /> between the 'storage' rooms and garages on the lower floors. The doors into the storage <br /> rooms could then be reduced to a non-rated passage doorway and note stating 'rooms not <br /> to be used as sleeping rooms' should be removed from the plans. Section R302.5.1 <br /> -The CO alarms should be shown in the (new) hallway outside of the sleeping <br /> rooms on the first level. Section R315.1 <br /> -An additional smoke alarm should be shown in the (new) hallway outside of the <br /> sleeping rooms on the first level. Section R314.3 <br /> a) Floor plan A2.2 has been revised to reflect the change showing a "new" hallway off of <br /> the garage and a second 20 min. door into the conditioned space to the rear of the <br /> garage in the 16' wide units <br /> -CO alarm has been shown in the "new" hallway out side of the sleeping rooms <br /> -Additional smoke detector is shown in the `anew" hallway out side of the <br /> sleeping rooms <br /> 6.The 2'6"x2'6" slider in the master bathroom of unit #1 should be shown as safety glazing. <br /> Section R308.4.5. <br /> a) Window has been called out as Safety glass on plan & window schedule. <br /> 7.Opening windows on the 3rd floor front elevation should be shown to be a minimum of 24" <br /> from the finished floor to the actual opening of the window. Section R312.2 <br /> a) Elevation has been revised to reflect this change (Re:1/A1.1) also the addition of notes <br /> on the floor plan & window schedule on sheet A2.3. <br /> 8.The glazing at the stair landing in Unit 6 should be shown to be a minimum of 36" a.f.f or <br /> safety glazing. Section R30S.4.7 . <br /> a) The window in question is show on the elevations (Re:l/AL.l) to be minimum of 36" A.F.F. <br /> & for further clarification a notation has been added to the window on plan sheet A2.2 <br />
