September 4, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> September 4, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic <br /> City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor <br /> Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and <br /> Tuohy were present. Council Member Moore was excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 28, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy provided an update from the Budget Subcommittee <br /> meeting that was held earlier this evening. <br /> Council Member Vogeli reported on her attendance on Monday at the Labor Day <br /> March and Block Party, hosted by Snohomish and Island County Labor Council. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated the Sound Transit Executive Committee is <br /> scheduled to meet tomorrow to review system access funds, which includes the <br /> Everett Station Non-motorized Access Improvements project. He also stated it was <br /> an honor to represent the City as part of the Snohomish County delegation at <br /> Sound Transit's Lynnwood Station groundbreaking ceremony held on Tuesday. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported that the Planning Commission held its kick-off <br /> for the Climate Action Plan yesterday. He announced that a workshop is <br /> tentatively scheduled for October 15 and a hearing on the plan on December 3. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated an environmental group has requested the <br /> Council consider a resolution on land and water conservation, and he suggested <br /> 259 <br />
