1.7.• EVERETT WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 3696-19 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "Grand Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge" Fund 303, Program 103, and repealing Ordinance No. 3556-17 WHEREAS, A. The City of Everett is committed to a planned public amenities and parks improvement program; and B. The City of Everett has identified the need and received approval for the utilization of Federal funds to design and construct a pedestrian bridge from Grand Avenue Park to Everett waterfront; and NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 103, entitled "Grand Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge"to accumulate all costs for the project and repealing Ordinance No. 3556-17 . Section 2. Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 103, for all expenses of the improvement project. Section 3. Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director", under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4. The sum of$5,856,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 103, "Grand Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge" as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Design and Construction $ 5,856,000 Total Estimated Cost $ 5,856,000 B. Source of Funds Federal Grant $ 2,516,000
