• <br /> governing authority, the City Counc 1 of the City of Everett. He shall <br /> enforce this ordinance by his own a•tion or by action through his duly <br /> authorized assistants or deputies. If the City shall have an agreement <br /> with a private contractor for the c•llection, removal and disposal of <br /> garbage, the Sanitation Superintend:nt shall be responsible to see that <br /> the provisions of such agreement ar: performed by the contractor or con- <br /> tractors so acting. The City Clerk Comptroller shall be responsible for <br /> the general supervision of collectins and for the enforcement of said <br /> collections and charges hereunder e=tablished in cooperation with the <br /> office of the Safitation Superinten.ent. The Sanitation Superintendent <br /> shall exercise the duties of his of ice under such regulations and restrictions <br /> as may be approved by the health of. icer as to sanitary conditions and as <br /> may be established in a contract to be entered into between the City of <br /> Everett and the Collector of Refuse and as may be further established by regulation <br /> of the City Council of the City of 1verett from time to time. <br /> Section 6: Sanitation Utilit Fund. All revenue collected or received <br /> by the City of Everett from reside is or persons within the City of Everett <br /> representing charges for the colle•tion, removal or disposal of garbage or <br /> refuse and all license fees receiv:d by the City under Section 11 of this <br /> Ordinance shall be deposited in the Sanitation Utility Fund established by <br /> Ordinance No. 4182 and administere. in accordance with the purposes of said <br /> Fund as defined and described as a ,thorized by said Ordinance No. 4182. <br /> Section 7: Accumulation of G rbage or Refuse. Every person occupy- <br /> ing or in possession, charge or co trol of any dwelling or business estab- <br /> lishment, as herein defined, shall at all times keep and maintain or cause <br /> to be kept and maintained a portab e approved garbage receptacle and, <br /> except as otherwise expressly per... tted by this ordinance, shall promptly <br /> deposit in the receptacle all garb.ge accumulated on the premises. If a <br /> single receptacle is inadequate t• accommodate the usual amount of garbage <br /> accumulated, such additional rece.tacles as the Sanitation Superintendent <br /> deems necessary shall be provided In the case of multiple dwellings, <br /> it shall be the duty of the owner and/or person in charge to see that all <br /> tenants have such receptacles ava lable, provided, that multiple dwellings <br /> of two or three living units or mire shall have a minimum of one receptacle <br /> or equivalent for each unit.
