• • Upon application as Iereinafter set forth, the monthly sew- er service charge for eaci of the months of July, August and Sep- tember, for each sewer c stomer having a metered water service and using water for spri ding purposes, shall be the amount com- puted by adding the indi idual customer ' s sewer service charge for the previous three m•nthly billings (April, May and June) and dividing by three; h• ever, for the year 1965 only, the charge shall be computed by adding the individual customer' s previous two monthly bil ings (May and June) and dividing by two; provided, however, that - 11 persons desiring such adjustment in both cases, by reasons o using water for sprinkling purposes, shall make application i writing with the city clerk-comptroller on or before the thirtie h day of June of the year such adjust- ment is sought to be app ied.
