1 I\ G( <br /> ORDINANCE NO . <br /> 2 <br /> 3 AN ORDINANCE DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST AND ALLOCATING $8,000.00 <br /> FROM THE GENERAL CURRENT EXPENSE FUND TO THE LIBRARY FUND <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the Library Fund has been in a deficit position <br /> 6 for a number of years, and, <br /> 7 WHEREAS, such condition should be corrected by an alloca- <br /> tion of funds from the General Current Expense Fund to the Library <br /> 8 Fund to correct such condition, <br /> 9 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 10 Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist <br /> and the sum of $8,000. 00 is hereby allocated from the General <br /> 11 Current Expense Fund of the City of Everett to the Library Depart- <br /> ment . <br /> 12 <br /> Section 2: That the sum herein allocated shall be paid <br /> 13 by the issuance of warrants drawn by the proper officials of the <br /> City of Everett, as provided by law. <br /> 14 <br /> Section 3: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist <br /> 15 and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passing <br /> and publication. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 A.
