ORDINANCE NO. / , ' 4.'707. I, AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 4174 entitled: /C:7'2-4- /,ddrtnrt-ors ofn.:. "AN ORDINANCE submitting to the qualified electors of the City of Everett, State of Washington, a proposition authorizing a special levy upon real and personal property in the City of Everett, in the year 1967, payable in the year 1968, of approximately 3.5 mills, which shall be in addition to the 15 mills and other levies authorized by Article VII, Section 2, as enacted by Amendment 17 of the Constitution of the State of Washington, for the purpose of raising $240,000. to be used for the purpose of purchasing fire apparatus for the Everett Fire Department, which fire apparatus shall con- sist of five fire pumpers, fully equipped, triple combination, including all basic equipment and additional equipment recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters for motor fire apparatus, classified as "fire pumpers"; providing for the form of ballot to be used at said elections; declaring an emergency to exist; and directing the City Clerk of the City of Everett to prepare ballots and prepare the submission of said issue to the people at the next general gelection to be held on the 8th day of November, 1966" , and declaring an emergency to exist. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT Section 1: Ordinance No. 4174 be and the same is hereby repealed and the County Auditor of Snohomish County is directed to cancel the proposed special municipal election to be held on the 8th day of November, 1966 for the submission of said proposition.
