Ted de Budden
From: Steve Ingalsbe
Sent: Thursday,April 13, 2017 10:51 AM
To: Meg Haley
Cc: Grace Pollard; Kathy Davis; Leroy McNulty; Kevin Fagerstrom; Paul McKee;Ted de
Budden; Steve Goforth
Subject: RE: 2930 Hoyt Ave meeting with owner's representative to discuss next steps
Thanks Meg,
I might be able to attend if my other meeting finishes early.
The residential use is conforming with the zoning code. Assessor's field notes show that there were 4 units in the front
building and 2 units above the garage in back. 56 Polk shows 6 units. The zoning code would allow additional units
(there is no limit) without additional parking for existing buildings but planning will need to look at open space
requirements.
From: Meg Haley
Sent:Thursday,April 13, 2017 8:26 AM
To:Steve Ingalsbe<SIngalsbe@everettwa.gov>
Cc: Grace Pollard <GPollard@everettwa.gov>; Kathy Davis<KDavis@everettwa.gov>; Leroy McNulty
<LMcNulty@ci.everett.wa.us>; Kevin Fagerstrom <KFagerstrom@everettwa.gov>; Paul McKee
<PMckee@everettwa.gov>;Ted de Budden<TdeBudden@everettwa.gov>;Steve Goforth<SGoforth@everettwa.gov>
Subject: RE: 2930 Hoyt Ave meeting with owner's representative to discuss next steps
Thanks Steve,
I worked with Kathy Davis yesterday to see if we could arrange something to accommodate the Fire Chief's
request that we meet with the owners as soon as possible after their hearing today.
Friday morning was the best option after checking in with Ted, Paul, and Kevin.
Short story is that this is an existing multi-family building (converted without permits from a 3 unit to a possible
7 unit building. If they have to remove a dangerous fire escape, which they will, the Fire Department is going
to ask them to remove tenants from the second floor and third floor until plans are submitted for permit/plan
review.
Planning will be in the position of determining the NCU of the two residential buildings from what originally may
have been a single family and garage, prior to 1956.
Meg
Original Appointment
From: Steve Ingalsbe
Sent: Thursday, April 13, 2017 8:21 AM
To: Meg Haley
Subject: Declined: 2930 Hoyt Ave meeting with owner's representative to discuss next steps
When: Friday, April 14, 2017 9:30 AM-10:30 AM (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US &Canada).
Where: CR-PW 2nd FL Fauver
I have another meeting. I have asked to have Grace attend in my place.
1
