November 20, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., November 20, 2013, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, President Moore presiding. <br /> Council President Moore announced the swearing in of Richard Anderson <br /> to City Council Position No. 7. The Honorable Joseph P. Wilson, Superior <br /> Court Judge, administered the oath of office. Council Member Anderson <br /> introduced family members who were in the audience. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Moore, Roberts, Murphy, Bader and Stonecipher, and Anderson were <br /> present. Council Member Gipson was excused. <br /> Mayor Stephanson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 13, 2013, Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor congratulated Council Member Anderson and welcomed the <br /> council member's family. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council members welcomed and congratulated newest Council Member <br /> Rich Anderson. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the National <br /> League of Cities conference this week. He also stated that he met with a <br /> county council member and Snohomish County Executive Lovick <br /> regarding a possible move of the courthouse. Additionally, Council <br /> Member Roberts remarked that a motion will come before Sound Transit <br /> tomorrow to approve the recommended alternative for Northgate to <br /> Lynnwood and he also attended a workshop last evening on ST3. He <br /> expressed his appreciation for work the Mayor and staff has done to make <br /> it a smooth process. <br /> 328 <br />
