Revised:09/15/04 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION PRODUCTS COVERED: Products covered are direct fired heaters,model numbers—42010,42010X,42106,42106X,46008,46008X,48106,48106X PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The product covered by this report is a paint spray booth that has a ventilation system interlocked to the spray application equipment.The paint spray booth incorporates a natural gas or propane(LPG)Direct Gas Fired Heater that is an integral part of the paint spray booth cabin.The product is provided with a Listed Industrial Control Panel,and Listed Electric Lighting Fixtures for Use in Hazardous Locations.The paint spray booth is fully automated with Spray and Bake Cycles of operation.The paint spray booth is permanently connected to the electrical supply source.The heater pre-conditions the incoming air to a maximum 01 200°F.and is connected through permanently installed ducting.The exhaust ventilation is also connected through permanently installed ducting to a safe discharge location. • Fuels—Natural Gas,LP Gas(LP gas noted through"P"designation at the end of the model number) • Unit Configuration—Down Flow,Blow Through • Discharge Configuration—Horizontal • Clearances to Combustible Material—4"from top,sides and ends.(For service clearances,the distance of the door to 90 degrees is used.) • For installation on Non-Combustible Surfaces. MODEL SIMILARITY All models within the model line are manufactured using the same style cabinet in varying sizes.The burner in a 42000 model series may vary from to three feet of burner length.To verify the proper velocity over the burner use the following relationship: Burner shadow area=Length of burner x(See Table A for Burner Area's) Profile area(sq.in.)=[(CFM_profile velocity)+burner shadow area]x 144=Length of profile x width of profile.
