• <br /> September 11, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> September 11, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic <br /> City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor <br /> Franklin and Council Members Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and <br /> Tuohy were present. Council Member Roberts was excused. <br /> After a moment of silence to commemorate 9/11, Fire Chief Dave Demarco led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 4, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin thanked President Bader for the moment of silence and thanked <br /> . first responders. <br /> OATH - POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Vogeli, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to <br /> concur with the appointment of Joshua Holmquist as a new police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member <br /> Roberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor Franklin presented the <br /> officer with his badge. <br /> Mayor Franklin invited Ryan Sass, Public Works director, to provide an overview <br /> of the storm that took place on Monday. <br /> • <br /> 267 <br />
