II 42P5 'O k <br />RUMMJAN2SM <br />CITY Q EVERETT <br />CITY OF EVRETT PUtOC Works Dept, <br />SPECIAL ROPRTT USE PERMIT 120-6E <br />SNONOMISH COUX" POLICE AND AUXILIARY <br />SERVICES C9RR (SNOPAC) <br />WHEREAS, there was filed with the City of Everett Planning Department <br />on September 12, 1988, an application for a Special Property Use Permit, <br />under Everett Municipal Code (E.M.C.) 19.58.010 by SNOPAC, Room B-13, <br />Snohomish County Courthouse, Everett, WA 98201, generally described an <br />follows: <br />A permit to allow SNOPAC to relocate its emergency <br />communications center which serves most of Snohomish <br />County from its current location in the basement of the <br />3 Snohomish County Courthouse to the third floor of the <br />existing First Interstate Bank building located at 4201 <br />Rucker Avenue. SNOPAC receives 911 emergency calls and <br />provides emergency communications services by <br />dispatching medical aid, fire service equipment, or l+v <br />enforcement as appropriate. There are :1 member <br />jurisdictions that are pert of SNOPAC Including the City <br />of Everett and the County of Snohomish. <br />WHEREAS, after proper notice was given an required by law, a public <br />hearing was held on October 20, 1988 before the City of Everett land Use <br />Hearing Examiner and continued until November 3, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, after due consideration of the evidence elicited during the <br />public hearing, the Everett Hearing Examiner made Findings of Fact and <br />conclusions and rendered a decision on November 16, 1988 to approve the <br />Special Property Use Permit subject to certain conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 28, 1988, the Cobra Construction Company filed a <br />request for reconsideration with the Everett Hearing Examiner; and <br />WHEREAS, after considering the Cobra Construction Company request for <br />reconsideration, the Everett Hearing Examiner denied the request by the <br />Order dated December 9, 1988 and therefore upheld the original decision to <br />approve the granting of Special Property Use Permit; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 23, 1988, the ten day period available for <br />parties to file an appeal of the Everett Hearing Examiner's decision lapsed <br />with no party filing such an appeal; and <br />
