e Prior to issuance of any permits, landscaping plans must be reviewed and approved by <br />the Planning Department per Section 35.1000 of the Zoning Code. The landscaping plan <br />must show location and dimension of required vegetated swales, wetponds, detention <br />ponds, rockeries and retaining walls, and grading at 2-foot intervals. Irrigation systems <br />must be provided in all landscaped areas per Section 35.140 of the Zoning Code, A <br />2-year maintenance assurance device must be provided for the landscaping per Section <br />35.130E of the Zoning Code, <br />Fire Department Comments <br />1. Access - O.K as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br />2. A Knox Box is required. <br />3. Security Fence - Any security fence erected around the construction site shall be located <br />so as to not obstruct any existing hydrant, fire protection equipment, or Fire Department <br />access If Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings shall be <br />provided for access. <br />4 Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at the <br />street entry. Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the <br />access road. Individual apartments and suites, where applicable, shall be clearly and <br />legibly identified from the access road. <br />5 A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet, but not closer than 50 feet, of every <br />structure Location of the hydrant(s) shall be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />6 PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS <br />ROADS AND FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT <br />OF CONSTRUCTION. <br />7 Based upon 5,000 square feet of Type V-B, non-sprinklered construction, the fire flow <br />requirement is 2,000 gpm <br />8. Portable Fire Protection - A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of <br />2-X 10-B C shall be provided within 75 feet of travel on all floors of each building during <br />construction and prior to occupancy. <br />9 Fire Alarm System - An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided as <br />required by City Ordinance No 3021-07, Chapter 16 76, of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />Plans for such system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval prior <br />to installation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. <br />Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector. shall be performed, along <br />with a certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the system <br />
