These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2006 International Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett and the Washington State Energy Code, 2006 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. City Amendment 3004-07, Section4, V, required the elevator to accommodate a 24" x 84" ambulance stretcher in the horizontal open position and identified by the international symbol for emergency medical services (Star of Life). The symbol shall not be less than 3" high and shall be placed inside on both sides of the hoistway door frame. 2. IMC 306.5 requires a permanent roof access. 3. The shower in the second floor bathroom should be detailed to assure compliance with the accessibility requirements of ANSI A117.1, 608.2. Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will recommence. All required submittals shall be of sufficient detail and contain sufficient information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
