In meetings with Dennis Beech,
Jerry Ervine and yourself it was determined that the 25' buffer
area should control the maximum slope of the fill (not to
exceed 2:1). The 3:1 maximum slopes were deleted.
The swale at the perimeter of the fill has been sloped as
described in the review comments. See the TESC, drainage and
landscaping plan.
Rip —rap at the ends of the Swale has been added. See the TESC,
drainage and landscaping plan.
The swale area will be seeded with the City of Everett's
vegetated swale seed mix. The seed list is shown on the
drawing.
The swale is shown with 2:1 maximum side slopes and a I' bottom
width.
In the meetings with Dennis Beech, Jerry Ervine and yourself
the proposed hydroseeding and tree plantings were determined to
be adequate; no plantings of ivy or salal were to be required.
A note has been added to the drawing indicating that filling
may only occur between April 1 and October 1.
We hope we have adequately responded to your review comments.
Very truly yours,
WJA, PS
Consulting Engineers & Surveyors
ack H.
