Tou(America- <br />Scope of Work <br />Touch <br />America (TA) proposes the following methods to install fiber optic cable <br />(cable) In accordance with the Right of Way (ROW) Permit currently being <br />reviewed by the City of Everett <br />Overhead At.: TA will Install conduit from the existing conduit terminated at the <br />2nd Street property line of the TA site on Lot 7 of block 27 on 2nd <br />Street to the base of the nearest existing pole. Using the existing <br />overhead ROW and poles jointly owned by Snohomish County <br />Public Utility District (PUD) and GTE, the cable will exit the <br />conduit, attach to the pole and rise to an elevation provided by the <br />pole owners. It will attach to the poles at that elevation and travel <br />approximately Five Hundred Fifty Feet (550) to the Sprint owned <br />location on Lot 9 of Block 22 on 2nd Street The cable will then <br />travel from the street poles to an existing pole in the Sprint owned <br />location down the pole into an existing conduit at the base and <br />terminate inside the Sprint building. <br />The alternate underground route will be installed as a backup to the overhead <br />route in the event of natural disaster or loss of one of the poles due to an <br />accident. <br />Underground At.: TA will trench from an existing cond ::: L.. _`.: alley side of the <br />TA site to the far side of the alley, then approximately 550' to <br />the Sprint owned lot described above. The trench will cross the <br />alley to the handhole located on the Sprint property. Conduit <br />will be installed In the trench and provide a continuous path <br />between both buildings. The cable will be installed in the <br />ccnduft, then terminate on the one end inside the TA building <br />and on the other inside the Sprint building. <br />The actual distance from centerline to centerline of the lots is 520'. 550' was <br />used as a conservative estimate, If necessary TA will provide an accurate <br />measurement of the distance for both routes. <br />DWO <br />l 130 North Main I BURG, MT W701 I \ 114Oo =4874 I w AwnoACaxo n l <br />
