December 4, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., December 4, 2013, in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall, Council Member Roberts presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Gipson, <br /> Bader, and Stonecipher were present. Council Members Moore and <br /> Anderson were excused. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 27, 2013, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts announced that agenda item no. 15, a public <br /> hearing, would be moved to follow consent items. <br /> Council Member Roberts announced the Everett Animal Shelter Santa <br /> Paws event will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, and Saturday, <br /> December 14, 2013. He also commented that the annual Everett Transit <br /> Stuff-a-Bus campaign, sponsored by the Amalgamated Transit Union, was <br /> currently underway. <br /> Council Member Roberts also reported he met with Congressman Larsen <br /> regarding freight mobility issues. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session pursuant to RCW <br /> 42.31.110(1)(i), which was anticipated to last 15 minutes with no <br /> announcement to follow. <br /> 340 <br />
