October 2, 2019 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a recap from the Budget Subcommittee <br /> meeting held earlier this evening. <br /> Council Member Roberts complimented staff on the Grand Avenue Park Bridge <br /> opening and suggested submitting that project to the appropriate organization for <br /> an award competition. He also reported on his attendance at the Snohomish <br /> County Tomorrow 2019 Annual Assembly. Council Member Roberts announced <br /> that the Sound Transit Board approved an initial round of System Access Funds. <br /> He also announced that the General Government Subcommittee will meet on <br /> October 16. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher spoke about her attendance at the Snohomish <br /> County Tomorrow 2019 Annual Assembly. She also provided a liaison report on <br /> her attendance at the Board of Park Commissioners meeting. Council Member <br /> Stonecipher announced that the Public Safety Subcommittee will meet next <br /> Wednesday, October 9. <br /> Vice President Tuohy announced that The Monte Cristo Awards ceremony is <br /> scheduled for October 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Historic Everett Theater. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, reminded the public that the Reusable Bag Ordinance <br /> is effective now and free reusable bags are available for residents. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Hall had no comments. <br /> 294 <br />
