I I1 Exception: The Contracting Agency will not add in sales tax for a payment the Contractor or 2 a Subcontractor makes on the purchase or rental of tools, machinery, Equipment, or 3 consumable supplies not integrated into the Project. Such sales taxes shall be included in 4 the unit Bid item prices or in any other Contract amount. 5 I 6 1-07.2(4) Services 7 The Contractor shall not collect retail sales tax from the Contracting Agency on any 8 Contract wholly for professional or other services (as defined in Washington State 9 Department of Revenue Rules 138 and 244). I 10 11 1-07.5 Environmental Regulations 12 13 1-07.5(4) Air Quality 14 Section 1-07.5(4) is modified to read as follows: 15 I 16 The Contractor shall comply with all rules of the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency 17 (PSCAA) (800-552-3565). These rules include PSCAA Regulation I. Excerpts of 18 Regulation I are included in the Appendix as it relates to fugitive dust control. The I 19 Contractor shall submit a Dust Control Plan including dust control measures for any of 20 its activities related to this Contract that may cause dust. This Plan shall be submitted 21 to the Engineer prior to commencing any activity at the job site. 22 1 23 1-07.6 Permits and Licenses 24 Section 1-07.6 is modified to read as follows: 25 I 26 A City of Everett business license is required prior to commencing construction on this 27 Contract. 28 I 29 30 The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required by law and the City of Everett. All general building, electrical, plumbing permits will be issued at no cost to the Contractor. 31 In addition, the Contractor shall obtain all required permits for waste disposal sites.
