I <br /> I1 Exception: The Contracting Agency will not add in sales tax for a payment the Contractor or <br /> 2 a Subcontractor makes on the purchase or rental of tools, machinery, Equipment, or <br /> 3 consumable supplies not integrated into the Project. Such sales taxes shall be included in <br /> 4 the unit Bid item prices or in any other Contract amount. <br /> 5 <br /> I 6 1-07.2(4) Services <br /> 7 The Contractor shall not collect retail sales tax from the Contracting Agency on any <br /> 8 Contract wholly for professional or other services (as defined in Washington State <br /> 9 Department of Revenue Rules 138 and 244). <br /> I 10 <br /> 11 1-07.5 Environmental Regulations <br /> 12 <br /> 13 1-07.5(4) Air Quality <br /> 14 Section 1-07.5(4) is modified to read as follows: <br /> 15 <br /> I 16 The Contractor shall comply with all rules of the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency <br /> 17 (PSCAA) (800-552-3565). These rules include PSCAA Regulation I. Excerpts of <br /> 18 Regulation I are included in the Appendix as it relates to fugitive dust control. The <br /> I <br /> 19 Contractor shall submit a Dust Control Plan including dust control measures for any of <br /> 20 its activities related to this Contract that may cause dust. This Plan shall be submitted <br /> 21 to the Engineer prior to commencing any activity at the job site. <br /> 22 <br /> 1 23 1-07.6 Permits and Licenses <br /> 24 Section 1-07.6 is modified to read as follows: <br /> 25 <br /> I 26 A City of Everett business license is required prior to commencing construction on this <br /> 27 Contract. <br /> 28 <br /> I 29 <br /> 30 The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required by law and the City of Everett. <br /> All general building, electrical, plumbing permits will be issued at no cost to the Contractor. <br /> 31 In addition, the Contractor shall obtain all required permits for waste disposal sites. Waste <br /> 32 disposal sites shall be in the United States, unless otherwise expressly stated in the <br /> 33 Contract Documents or the City gives prior written approval. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 1-07.9 Wages <br /> I 36 <br /> 37 1-07.9(5) Required Documents <br /> 38 Section 1-07.9(5) is modified by deleting the following paragraph: <br /> 1 39 <br /> 40 Certified payrolls are required to be submitted by the Contractor to the Engineer, for <br /> 41 the Contractor and all Subcontractors or lower tier Subcontractors, on all Federal aid <br /> I42 _-: --- - - - - •__ , - - - - - - - _ <br /> 43 Contracting Agency funds. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Section 1-07.9(5) is modified by adding the following: <br /> I 46 <br /> 47 Certified payrolls are required to be submitted by the Contractor to the Engineer, for <br /> 48 every Subcontractor, or lower tier Subcontractors, on all Federal-Aid projects and, <br /> I 49 when requested in writing by the Engineer, on projects funded with only Contracting <br /> 50 Agency funds. <br /> 1 City of Everett Page SP1 41 Special Provisions <br /> Everett Station 80 Stall Parking Expansion June 2019 <br /> I <br />
