All components of the turbidity curtain shall be removed from the project. <br /> 19 <br /> I <br /> 20 8-01.3(1)C1 Disposal of Dewatering Water <br /> 21 This section is revised to read: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 When uncontaminated groundwater is encountered in an excavation on a project it may be <br /> I <br /> 24 infiltrated within vegetated areas of the right of way not designated as Sensitive Areas or <br /> 25 incorporated into an existing stormwater conveyance system at a rate that will not cause <br /> 26 erosion or flooding in any receiving surface water. I 27 <br /> 28 Alternatively, the Contractor may pursue independent disposal and treatment alternatives <br /> 29 that do not use the stormwater conveyance system provided it is in compliance with the <br /> 30 applicable WACs and permits. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 8-01.3(1)C2 Process Wastewater <br /> 33 This section is revised to read: <br /> I <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Wastewater generated on-site as a byproduct of a construction process shall not be <br /> 36 discharged to surface waters of the State. Some sources of process wastewater may be <br /> I <br /> 37 infiltrated in accordance with the CSWGP. Some sources of process wastewater may be <br /> 38 disposed via independent disposal and treatment alternatives in compliance with the <br /> 39 applicable WACs and permits. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 8-01.3(1)C3 Shaft Drilling Slurry Wastewater <br /> 42 This section is revised to read: <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Wastewater generated on-site during shaft drilling activity shall be managed and disposed <br /> 45 of in accordance with the requirements below. No shaft drilling slurry wastewater shall be <br /> 46 discharged to surface waters of the State.
