Review by the Owner or Owner's Representative shall not constitute approval or <br /> acceptance of the Contractor's construction means, methods, sequencing, logic, order, <br /> precedence and succession of activities or Contractor's ability to complete the Work in a <br /> timely manner. <br /> D. The review/approval of any schedule shall not transfer any of the Contractor's <br /> responsibilities to the Owner. <br /> E. Subcontractors shall review all schedules prior to submittal. At the Owner's option and <br /> sole discretion, Owner may require Contractor to obtain written acceptance of each <br /> schedule by subcontractors as practical and feasible, as the schedule relates to <br /> subcontractors' work. <br /> i <br /> 1.4 UPDATES <br /> A. The Project Construction Schedule will be reviewed and updated at each progress , <br /> meeting. All changes to the project schedule of more than three (3) working days shall <br /> be documented. The Schedule shall be updated to show measures required to bring <br /> project back on schedule. The Contractor alone shall remain responsible for adjusting <br /> forces, equipment, and work schedules to ensure completion of the work within the <br /> Contract Time. Any mistakes or errors in any schedule, including, but not limited to, <br /> mistakes or errors of logic. order, precedence, and duration, are and remain the <br /> Contractor's. <br /> B. Should any activity not be completed by the stated scheduled date, the Owner will have <br /> the right to require the Contractor to expedite completion of the activity by whatever <br /> means appropriate and necessary, without additional compensation to the Contractor. <br /> C. The Schedule shall be used to justify time extension days requested by the Contractor. I <br /> For additional days requested, the Schedule shall be detailed enough to identify the work <br /> item(s) affected and the relationship to the changed or added work. I <br /> D. Schedule shall be provided during the construction meetings. Schedule shall be on <br /> 11x17 papers and shall show current work progress. <br /> 1.5 OWNER PROVIDE MATERIALS <br /> A. All items to be provided by the owner shall be incorporated into the schedule. The I <br /> schedule shall show when the materials are required to be delivered to the project and <br /> when the materials will be installed. These materials are to be included in the preliminary <br /> schedule, upon review; owner will confirm lead time for materials and delivery dates. <br /> B. Contractor failure to include owner provided materials into the schedule shall be <br /> responsible for all delays to the work or failure to notify the owner of tasks dependent <br /> upon the owner furnished materials shall constitute a waiver by the contractor of any <br /> contract claim arising out of or related to the timeliness of the delivery of materials or <br /> installation of such materials. <br /> 01 32 16 - 2 CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS SCHEDULE <br /> 1 <br />
