The following revisions or <br />additions to the design as shown would qualify the protection for im- <br />proved rates based upon information shown on these plans: <br />Classification as sprinklered is subject to provision of adequate heat <br />in all areas containing wet pipe sprinkler equipm?nt. <br />1. Blind ceiling spaces Used for return air plenums with open return air <br />grilles need sprinkler protection, particularly in the areas d-irectlL- <br />above the return air grilles. Also, any areas where asphalt adhesives <br />_ are used on metal roof decks, in spaces containing combustibles and/or <br />motorized mechanical equipment. <br />2. Sprinkler protection should be provided for filter compartments of <br />heating and A C units,any exterior canopies, covered entries, and <br />stock fixtures cbstruCtine Sor,inklers. _ <br />3. Secure earthquake bracing to steel structure using thru boltF, -,ot <br />with "C" clamps, and provide sway brace at each flexible coupling in _ <br />cross mains. <br />¢.
