I <br /> May 1 to 7 days I I November 1 10 days <br /> September 30 maximum throughMarchmaximum <br /> 31 <br /> 1 <br /> I 2 When applicable. the Contractor shall be responsible for all Work required for compliance <br /> 3 with the CSWGP including annual permit fees. <br /> 4 <br /> 111 5 If the Engineer, under Section 1-08.6, orders the Work suspended, the Contractor shall <br /> 6 continue to comply with this division during the suspension. <br /> 7 <br /> I 8 8-01.3(1)A Submittals <br /> 9 This section's content is deleted. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 This section is supplemented with the following new subsection: <br /> I 12 <br /> 13 8-01.3(1)A1 Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan <br /> 14 Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control (TESC) Plans consist of a narrative section and <br /> I 15 plan sheets that meets the Washington State Department of Ecology's Stormwater <br /> 16 Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirement in the CSWGP. For projects that do not <br /> 17 require a CSWGP but have the potential to discharge to surface waters of the state, an <br /> 18 abbreviated TESC plan shall be used, which may consist of a narrative and/or plan sheets <br /> 19 and shall demonstrate compliance with applicable codes, ordinances and regulations, <br /> 20 including the water quality standards for surface waters; Chapter 173-201A of the <br /> 21 Washington Administrative Code (WAC) and water quality standards for groundwaters in <br /> I 22 accordance with Chapter 173-200 WAC. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 The Contractor shall either adopt the TESC Plan in the Contract or develop a new TESC <br /> I 25 Plan. If the Contractor adopts the TESC Plan in scenarios in which the CSWGP is <br /> 26 transferred to the Contractor, the Contractor shall modify the TESC Plan to match the <br /> 27 Contractor's schedule, method of construction, and to include all areas that will be used <br /> I 28 to directly support construction activity such as equipment staging yards, material storage <br /> 29 areas, or borrow areas. TESC Plans shall include all high visibility fence shown in the <br /> 30 Plans. All TESC Plans shall meet the requirements of the current edition of the WSDOT <br /> 31 Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Manual M 3109 and be adaptively managed <br /> I 32 throughout construction based on site inspections and required sampling to maintain <br /> 33 compliance with the CSWGP, or WQS when no CSWGP applies. The Contractor shall <br /> 34 develop a schedule for implementation of the TESC work and incorporate it into the <br /> 35 Contractor's progress schedule. <br /> I 36 <br /> 37 The Contractor shall submit their TESC Plan (either the adopted plan or new plan) as Type <br /> I 38 2 Working Drawings. At the request of the Engineer. updated TESC Plans shall be <br /> 39 submitted as Type 1 Working Drawings. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 8-01.3(1)B Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Lead <br /> I42 This section is revised to read: <br /> 43 <br /> 44 The Contractor shall identify the ESC Lead at the preconstruction discussions and in the <br /> I 45 TESC Plan. The ESC Lead shall have, for the life of the Contract, a current Certificate of <br /> 46 Training in Construction Site Erosion and Sediment Control from a course approved by <br /> 47 the Washington State Department of Ecology. The ESC Lead must be onsite or on call at <br /> I 48 all times throughout construction.
