October 16, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> October 16, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic <br /> City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that <br /> Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy,Vogeli, Bader,Stonecipher, and Tuohy <br /> were present. Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 9, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy commented on last week's briefing related to Project <br /> Labor Agreements. He shared a policy brief about the anticompetitive effects of <br /> government-mandated labor agreements on construction in Washington State. <br /> Council Member Murphy requested additional information about the impact on <br /> minority-owned businesses. <br /> Council Member Vogeli reported on her attendance at the Port Gardner <br /> Neighborhood meeting. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Delta Neighborhood <br /> meeting and the Planning Commission meeting. He also provided a recap from the <br /> General Government Subcommittee meeting held earlier this evening. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report on her attendance at the Library <br /> Board Meeting. <br /> 308 <br />
