Assist ADS with access to the rain gauge and meter sites for installation of meters if
needed.
Assumptions
1. Up to one half-day of site visit time for two team members (Project Manager and Project
Engineer) including 1 hour of travel time and 1 hour for preparation and summary report,
for a total of 6 hours per team member.
2. Existing as-builts and GIS data used to determine location of flow meters accurately
represent field conditions.
Deliverables
1. Data collected from rain gauges and flow meters.
2. Field investigation report (maximum of 4 pages of text, PDF files via email).
Task 300 — Model Calibration
Objectives
Review the hydraulics and assumptions made in the model regarding the hydrology. Compare
the model output with collected data from Task 200 and historical flow meter data provided by
the City for up to three storm events. Calibration criteria shall be +25%/-15% for peak flow rates
and +20%/-10% for peak volume events if feasible. Model parameter changes will only be made
to subcatchment contributing area and RTK values to match metered flows and levels.
BHC Services
1. Review current subcatchments in the model and make updates or changes as needed.
2. Revise subcatchments to reflect areas within the study area where stormwater is
separated from the combined sewer.
3. Review the Summit Interceptor model attributes and revise as necessary.
4. Spot check other large diameter pipes and revise as necessary.
5. Use available rainfall data to run model.
6. Use flow meter data collected as part of Task 200 to calibrate subcatchments and RTK
parameters.
7. Review level data collected by the City. This data will be used to validate the model but
will not be a primary calibration method.
8. Run long-term simulation in calibrated model and review results.
City of Everett Responsibilities
1. Provide current model and data for defining boundary conditions.
2.
