C/ AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS GOVERNING CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS TO LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM FIRE OR EXPLOSION; REPEALING SECTIONS 7.04.010, 7.04.015, 7.04.020, 7.04.030, 7.04.040, 7.04.050, 7.04.060, 7.04.070, 7.04.080, 7.04.090, 7.04. 100, 7.04. 110 and 7.04. 120, BEING ORDINANCE NUMBER 3697 and 3883; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE RECOMMENDED BY THE AMERICAN INSURANCE ASSOCIATION, 1965 EDITION, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, ESTABLISHING A FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU AND PROVIDING FOR A FORM FOR FIRE MARSHAL ORDERS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH FIRE MARSHAL ORDERS MAY BE ISSUED, PROVIDING FOR APPEAL THEREFROM AND CREATING AN APPEAL BOARD. Now, therefore, the City of Everett does ordain: Section 1 : Repeal of Sections . That the following section of the Everett City Code, to-wit : 7.04.010, 7 .04. 015 7 .04.020 7 .04.030 7 .04.040 7 .04.050, 7 .04.060, 7 .04.070, 7 .04.080, 7.04.090, 7 .04. 100, 7 .04. 110 and 7 .04. 120, be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 2: Adoption of Fire Prevention Code. That the 1965 edition of the fire prevention code recommended by the American Insurance Association, successor to the National Board of Fire Underwritersis hereby adopted by reference subject to amendment of Sections 1 .5 and 1 .6 thereof, as provided by R.C.W. 35.21 . 180, as an ordinance of the City of Everett, and that no less than three copies of said suggested fire prevention code have been and shall be on file for the use and examination of the public in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Everett. Section 3: Amendment of Code Provisions--Section 1 .5 Amended--Dangerous Buildings and Conditions. That Section 1 .5 of the fire prevention code recommended by the American Insurance Association, 1965 edition, is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 1 .5. Dangerous buildings or places defined and declared to be a nuisance, and standards of repair and correction or demolition. All buildings, structures, premises, places and yards which have any or all of the following conditions, shall be deemed dangerous buildings or places and are hereby declared to be a nuisance and shall be repaired, corrected, vacated, removed or demolished as hereinafter provided.
