C/ <br /> AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS GOVERNING CONDITIONS <br /> HAZARDOUS TO LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM FIRE OR EXPLOSION; <br /> REPEALING SECTIONS 7.04.010, 7.04.015, 7.04.020, 7.04.030, <br /> 7.04.040, 7.04.050, 7.04.060, 7.04.070, 7.04.080, 7.04.090, <br /> 7.04. 100, 7.04. 110 and 7.04. 120, BEING ORDINANCE NUMBER <br /> 3697 and 3883; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF <br /> THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE RECOMMENDED BY THE AMERICAN <br /> INSURANCE ASSOCIATION, 1965 EDITION, PROVIDING PENALTIES <br /> FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, ESTABLISHING A FIRE PREVENTION <br /> BUREAU AND PROVIDING FOR A FORM FOR FIRE MARSHAL ORDERS <br /> AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH FIRE MARSHAL ORDERS MAY BE ISSUED, <br /> PROVIDING FOR APPEAL THEREFROM AND CREATING AN APPEAL BOARD. <br /> Now, therefore, the City of Everett does ordain: <br /> Section 1 : Repeal of Sections . That the following <br /> section of the Everett City Code, to-wit : 7.04.010, 7 .04. <br /> 015 7 .04.020 7 .04.030 7 .04.040 7 .04.050, 7 .04.060, 7 .04.070, <br /> 7 .04.080, 7.04.090, 7 .04. 100, 7 .04. 110 and 7 .04. 120, be and <br /> the same are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2: Adoption of Fire Prevention Code. That <br /> the 1965 edition of the fire prevention code recommended <br /> by the American Insurance Association, successor to the <br /> National Board of Fire Underwritersis hereby adopted by <br /> reference subject to amendment of Sections 1 .5 and 1 .6 thereof, <br /> as provided by R.C.W. 35.21 . 180, as an ordinance of the <br /> City of Everett, and that no less than three copies of said <br /> suggested fire prevention code have been and shall be on file <br /> for the use and examination of the public in the office of <br /> the City Clerk of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 3: Amendment of Code Provisions--Section 1 .5 <br /> Amended--Dangerous Buildings and Conditions. That Section <br /> 1 .5 of the fire prevention code recommended by the American <br /> Insurance Association, 1965 edition, is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows : <br /> Section 1 .5. Dangerous buildings or places defined <br /> and declared to be a nuisance, and <br /> standards of repair and correction or <br /> demolition. <br /> All buildings, structures, premises, places and yards which <br /> have any or all of the following conditions, shall be deemed <br /> dangerous buildings or places and are hereby declared to be <br /> a nuisance and shall be repaired, corrected, vacated, removed <br /> or demolished as hereinafter provided. <br />
