We understand the site is being <br />considered for construction of a Monterey Jack Restaurant. The property in <br />question is located roughly 250 feet south of the Top Faods Market. and directly <br />north of Everett Mall Way. 7he parcel itself is irregular in shape, bounded by <br />ro��yhly 170 feet of entrance drivev+ay on the north and northeast. 125 feet of <br />gravel-paved easement between the site and Everett Mall Nay on the south. having <br />about 135 feet of common border with building lot 96 on the southwest and west. <br />Ouriny the fall of 1983. we observed mass yrading of the Everett Mall Flaza site. <br />In general. mass yrading consisted of cutting on Lhe east side of the plaza site <br />and filliny on the west side of the :site. At the location of building pad i7. <br />mass yradiny consisted of cutting down by approximately 5 to 6 feet below site <br />grade. to roughly elevation 614 to 616 feet (City o'f Everett Datum). The soils <br />ettposed in the cut areas were very dense, s11ty. gravelly sand (glacial till). <br />Based on conversations with Mr. Steve Miller of Bakke Enterprises. Inc.. some on- <br />site (glacial till) fill was subsequently placed above the cut area to establish <br />a level pad at finished-floor eievation 615.66 feet. Other earthwork activities <br />on the parcel reportedly consisted of installation of a storm sewer line atong <br />the west slde of the lot. wlth a'stub" running to the building pad from a catch <br />
