<br /> _ WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds ofi the
<br /> private property abutting upon the portion of street and,Alley
<br /> above described have duly filed their petition with the City
<br /> Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portions of
<br /> street and alley, and
<br /> 11
<br /> ' WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did,
<br /> by resolution duly adopted, fix the 27th of July, 1964, at
<br /> 10:00 A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of the
<br /> said petition, and
<br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of
<br /> said hearing and the determination of said petition has been
<br /> given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and
<br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing,
<br /> objections to the vacating of the herein described portion of street
<br /> and alley were heard and discussed, and
<br /> 1 WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said
<br /> petition should be granted and said City Council does hereby
<br /> determine to vacate the above described portion of said street
<br /> and alley,
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> (1 Section 1: That the portion of street and alley in the
<br /> City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, de-
<br /> scribed as follows, to-wit:
<br /> 1. What was originally planned as 7th Street
<br /> in the Plat of Legion Park, Division No. 2,
<br /> I recorded in Volume 12, Page 4 of Plats,,
<br /> ( Snohomish County, Washington, and lying
<br /> d1 between Tracts 6o and Tract 1 of said Flat,
<br /> I be, and the same is hereby vacated and the title to said portion
<br /> of street and alley above described is hereby declared vested in
<br /> the abutting property owners as provided by law.
