ORDINANCE NO. 1/1./ 4") 3 .- AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of ` Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett (JICL also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040 entitled: . 1 "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the Ni t location and use of building and land within 14 -4 the City of Everett; limiting the height of C/ 1 buildings; prescribing building lines and n size of yard and other open spaces; providing r11^.1 creating the division of the City into use zones ; creating a Board of Adjustments; and pro- r., viding for penaltles for violation of the Ordinance. " WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined the Comprehensive Plan of Land Useshould be amended; that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned and such rezoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City of Everett, and do hereby amend the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, also designated as "use map" of the City of Everett, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040 is hereby amended as follows: The following described property, Lots 1 through 10, Block 602, Plat of Swalwells Second Addition to Everett and the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 LESS the North 110 feet thereof and LESS roads, all in Section 20-29-5, be rezoned from R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone and R-2 Single Family High Density Residence Zone to B-2 Community Shopping Zone. Section 3: That the official Comprehensive Plan of Land Use and the zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and hence- forth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, all as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as Everett, City Code 15.04.040 as amended.
