E?' / c ORDINANCE NO. 7t1 95 -- <br /> on S ._ <br /> ca M AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of <br /> 00 Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett <br /> N also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040 entitled: <br /> "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the <br /> location and use of building and land within <br /> the City of Everett; limiting the height of <br /> buildings; prescribing building lines and <br /> size of yard and other open spaces; providing <br /> for the division of the City into use zones; <br /> creating a Board of Adjustments; and pro- <br /> viding for penalties for violation of the <br /> Ordinance. " <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Everett, has determined the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use should <br /> be amended; that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned <br /> and such rezoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan <br /> of Land Use for the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for <br /> the best interests of the City of Everett, and do hereby amend <br /> the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett to <br /> provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> . Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, <br /> also designated as "use map" of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett City <br /> Code 15.04.040 is hereby amended as follows : <br /> Lots 1 through 16, Block 720 Plat of Everett <br /> Division "H" (the East side of Grand Avenue, <br /> Wall to Pacific) <br /> be rezoned from R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone <br /> to C-1 General Commercial Zone. <br /> The following described property which lies <br /> south of Diagonal Way and west of Interstate <br /> Highway #5 (Freeway) : <br /> Parcel "A" - The Southeast quarter of the <br /> Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 28 <br /> North, Range 5 E.W.M., lying West of the <br /> Seattle-Everett Freeway, and <br /> Parcel "B" - The Southwest quarter of the <br /> Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 28 <br /> North, Range 5 E.W.M., lying east of the <br /> Pacific Northwest Traction Company right-of- <br /> way, <br /> be rezoned from R-1, Single Family High Density Residence Zone, <br /> to C-1, General Commercial Zone. <br /> -1- <br /> DEEDSt 'i'i;�4 '` ' <br />
