• <br /> on the drawing shall be permitted without first having submitted a <br /> supplementary drawing for approval by the Water Department. <br /> e. Single Representative - Payment and Communications: <br /> All customers served through a master meter shall designate one <br /> representative who shall be responsible for all matters relating to <br /> service through the master meter, including payment of water bills <br /> and required notifications to the City. Each representative, as <br /> designated above, shall notify the Water Department on a monthly <br /> basis of the number of services connected to the master meter. <br /> f. Customer to Provide Storage: All customers outside <br /> the City limits shall provide sufficient water storage for their needs <br /> during periods of transmission line or water main failures and/or <br /> periods of reduced pressure or flow. <br /> g. Ordinance Applies - Customers Outside City: This <br /> Ordinance and all rules and regulations governing the Water System <br /> shall apply to all customers outside the City limits. <br /> h. Service Policy - Outside City Limits: It is hereby <br /> declared to be the policy of the City of Everett that upon and after the <br /> effective date of this Ordinance the Water Department will not construct <br /> maintain, nor operate any additional water distribution systems nor <br /> fire hydrants outside the City limits. The Water Department will <br /> however, undertake to provide service connections and supply water <br /> to such individuals and/or groups along the City's various water <br /> transmission pipelines when such individuals and/or groups agree to <br /> comply with requirements herein set forth. <br /> Section 48: Cross-Connections and By-Passes - Prohibited. No <br /> cross-connection with the Water System either within or outside the City limits <br /> shall be installed or permitted to exist. The term "cross-connection" as used <br /> -22- <br />
