Road in and along an easement and R.O.W. acquired for these <br /> purposes a distance of 800 ' more or less to rhe reservoir site, <br /> all in Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> A water transmission tunnel complete with intake and <br /> discharge portals being constructed of reinforced concrete and <br /> fitted with the necessary gates and controls and connecting piping <br /> to the now existing portal numbered 4 and transmission pipelines <br /> numbered 2, 3 and 4. The transmission capacity shall have a <br /> minimum of 150 million gallons per day when flowing full. It shall <br /> be constructed parallel and adjacent to the City' s existing tunnel <br /> No. 2 beginning at a point on the City' s Lake Chaplain reservoir in <br /> the S.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of the N.W. 1/4 of Sec. 36 , Twp. 29 <br /> N. ,R. 7 E.W.M. and terminating in the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the <br /> NW 1/4 of Sec. 35, Twp. 29 N. , R. 7 E.W.M. ,Snohomish County, <br /> Washington. <br /> Improvements and modifications to Tunnel No. 2 by the ad- <br /> dition of reinforced concrete lining along with betterments to the <br /> intake control so as to increase the transmission capacity <br /> of the tunnel to 150 m.g.d. <br /> A 36" diameter water transmission main constructed of steel <br /> with protective coatings of coal tar enamel and complete with valves , <br /> fittings and connections to the existing systems be- <br /> ginning at the City 's existing reservoir No. 3 at a point <br /> 200 ' south and 200 ' east of the southerly end of Highway <br /> Place; thence westerly 200 ' and northerly 200 ' to the southerly <br /> end of said Highway Place; thence northerly in and along said <br /> Highway Place tO Evergreen Way; thence continuing northerly in and <br /> along Evergreen Way to 52nd St. ; thence easterly in and along <br /> 52nd St. to Delaware Ave. ; thence continuing in and along <br /> 52nd St. and 52nd St. extended easterly as Main St. as a 24" <br /> diameter steel transmission main to a point adjacent to 1st St. <br /> 3. <br />
