Included as part of the State <br /> Building Code, is the National Electric Code(the"NEC"). In the past the City has amended the NEC with a <br /> provision for wiring in non-dwelling occupancies. This requirement is not necessary under the State <br /> Building Code for public health, safety, and welfare. Therefore, it is appropriate to eliminate the <br /> requirement. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Adopt An Ordinance Relating to the <br /> National Electric Code,Amending Part 7,Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3196-10 (EMC 16.05). <br /> 1 <br />
