Lam interested in serving the penple of <br />Everett. The Salary Commission plays an important role in our City and I would be honored to be a part of the <br />deliberations and decision -making process of the Commission. <br />Please provide background, experience, and qualifications that would assist you in <br />serving on this board/commission: I have had considerable training and experience as a manager in <br />several nonprofit organizations as well as in my current position at King County. As a result, I understand the <br />importance of fairness in setting salaries and benefits. Through having recently campaigned for an Everett City <br />Council seat, I have familiarity with the issues facing the City at this time and I have an understanding of the <br />concerns of the citizens of Everett. I believe that I can work to balance fairness, budget issues and the trust of <br />our citizens as a member of the Salary Commission. <br />List past or present community involvement: I am a member of the City of Everett Human Needs <br />Committee and the Steering Committee of the Northwest Neighborhood. I am a past volunteer with Everett <br />Public Schools, United Way of Snohomish County, Project Homeless Connect and the Annual Point -In -Time <br />Count.
