Ilk CONSULT <br /> DESIGN <br /> 4)". <br /> -.1111 <br /> RESTORE <br /> J2 BUILDING CONSULTANTS,INC. <br /> Park Place Condominiums <br /> Description of Work <br /> Park Place Condominiums will be replacing the guardrails only at the landings and walkways of <br /> the south elevations of all buildings. <br /> The scope of work would fall under repair Section 502.1 because the existing guardrails are <br /> rusted and starting to cause damage to the walkway and landing structures via staining and <br /> water intrusion. The replacement of the guardrails will allow proper waterproofing techniques <br /> at the connections to prevent future damage. <br /> The new guardrails will be code compliant in dimensions and load capabilities. Hand rails will be <br /> replaced as part of the guardrail system at the stair portions of the breezeways only. All building <br /> elements will remain with the exception of the aforementioned guardrails. <br /> Replacement of the guardrails will not affect or alter fire protection, means of egress, accessibility, <br /> structural, electrical, mechanical or plumbing.
