The proposed new building <br />and the buildi�ig addition will be a rigid frame metal building which will match the <br />original character and style of the existing buildings. The proposed new building, <br />Building #1, will be oriented towards Norton Avenue with a driveway, parkin,c, and <br />landscaping between the street and th� proposed building. Permit # 07420 v,as <br />issued May 1980, and the piling work and foundaiions for the proposed additions <br />were constructed at that time. The proposed buildinc addition, Builc+ing #3, will <br />extend northerly and will be constructed on the existing founda4ion. <br />7. (con't. ) <br />The site is a level land fitl area of approximately 304,000 sq. ft. The portion of the <br />site directly impacted is a!ong Norton Avenue. "The proposed building �1 will be <br />more humanly scaled than the exisiing structure to be demolished. The height will <br />be approximately 18 feet above grade, substantially less than the existing structure. <br />Building #7 wiil also be set back approximately 60 feet from Norton Avenue which <br />will significantly decrease the present impact of the existing structure. Land- <br />scaping wiil also be provided as a buffer adjacent to Norton Avenue and along the <br />northerly property line abutting the public boat launching facilities. <br />
