Snohomish River Run 2013 crz Event Date: Sunday, October 27 2013 Event Description: The Snohomish River Run is a 10k and 1/2 marathon running event. Both events will take place on Sunday, October 27th. The 1/2 marathon will start on 8:00am, and the 10k will start at 8:30am. Both courses begin at Rotary Park and turn left(east) onto Lowell Snohomish River Road. The 10k course turns around approximately 3 miles down the road. The course then travels past Rotary Park and turns right into Lowell Riverfront Park, and then turns right onto the Lowell Riverfront Trail and ends on the trail. The V2 marathon starts in the same manner as the 10k, but the turnaround on Lowell Snohomish River Road is just a short ways past the Highway 9 overpass.,The course then turns right into Lowell Riverfront Park and turns left onto the Lowell Riverfront Trail. The course follows the trail along the river and turns around and then finishes in the same spot as the 10k. See below for maps!of the two courses. Parking Plan: Event participants will park in the Rotary Park parking lot, the Lowell Riverfront Park parking lot, as well as several off-site parking lots. Participants will be shuttle from the off-site parking lots to the start line area by shuttle. • Timeline: Friday, October 25th: 1000-1200: Portapotty dropped off Saturday, October 26th: 1200-1500: Preliminary event setup • Sunday, October 27th: 0500: Staff arrives on site 0630:Participants begin to arrive 0700: Course setup and marked 0745: Lowell Snohomish River Road closes 0800:Race starts 1200:Lowell.Snohomish River Road opens; last participant off course Monday, October 28th: 1000:Portapotties picked up
