The Uniform Building Code <br />provides that all permits expire by limitation if che work authoriud by che permit is <br />suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced fot a period of 180 days. If <br />you wish to prevent the permit from expiring withouc documentuion of completion, you <br />may: <br />1) Reques[ an inspeaicn of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspeccion if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day excension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br />Department for microfilming withou[ final approval.
