Jackson Park Phase 1 (i.e. <br /> neighborhood component)project. <br /> This fourteen acre community park was master planned in 2010 and 2011, and adopted by City Council on <br /> May 11, 2011. At this time, funding has been secured from federal(Community Development Block <br /> Grant), state(state capital budget,Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program)and local sources <br /> (Snohomish County, City of Everett)to move forward the Phase 1 project. These dollars will fund the <br /> design and construction of the Phase 1 renovation, focusing on approximately four acres on the west side of <br /> the park. Planned elements of the renovation include a community garden, a walking trail,a new <br /> playground and gathering areas, a second picnic shelter,restroom,rain garden,basketball court and <br /> improvements to parking and lighting. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize Request for Qualifications for Senator Henry M.
