Plcase review <br />and respond to the comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional <br />revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or <br />Fire). All references refer to the 2009 intemational Building Code (IBC), the 2009 lnternational <br />Fire Code (IFC), the 2009 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2009 Washington State <br />Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of <br />Everett. The arrent IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2003 "Accessible and <br />Usable Buildings a�d Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may <br />be more restrictive. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, ic will be necessary to <br />provide th2 Building Division with two complete new set: of construction <br />documents refleding the corrections requested. <br />1. The plans should indude tl?e requirements (or floor fdentificalion siyns in accordance <br />with IDC 1022.8. <br />2. The plans shuuld include lhe requirement (or a barrier in accadance with 16C 1022J at <br />level (�1 of the northwest stairway endosurc. <br />3. The plans should indude the requirement for a 2" contrasting stripe on the slair nosings <br />in accordance with ANSI Al ll. i, 504.5. <br />4. The general plan notes on 52.05 indicate "hold dowii system per F/55.06." F/55.06 <br />appears to indicate a system utilizing Simpson hold-downs. If this is the intent, then the <br />sheanvall segment boundary"stud detailing should be provided.
