Please review <br />and respond to the comments b�low. These comments address building issues only. Additional <br />revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or <br />Fire). All references re(er to the 2009 International Building Code (IBC), t5e 2009 Intemational <br />Fire Code (IFC), the 2009 Intemational Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2009 Washington State <br />Energy Codc (WSEC), as amended by thc State of Washington and adopted by the City of <br />Everett. The arrent IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2003 "Accessible and <br />Usable Buildings and Facilities" ([CC/ANSI A117.1). �edcral ADA regulations and standards may <br />bc more restrictive. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of const�uction <br />documents n�flecting the corredio�s requested. <br />L The plans should indude the requirements (or floor identification signs in accordance <br />with IBC i022.8. <br />2. The plans should indude lhe requiremenr for a barner in accordance with [[3C 1022J at <br />level P1 of thc northwest stairway enclosure. <br />3. Thc plans should indude thc rcquirement for a 2" contrasting stripe on the stair nosings <br />in accordance with ANSI A117.1, 504.5. <br />4. The general plan notes on 52.05 indicate "hold down system per F/55.06." F/55.0G <br />appears to indicate a system utilizing Simpson hold-downs. If this is the intent, then the <br />shearwall segment boundary stud dctailir�g should be provided.
