The plans should include the requirements for floor identification signs in accordance <br />with IBC 1022.9 <br />"A new Sheet, Sheet A0.05 has been issued to clarify signage requirements. See <br />AS! #2. <br />2. The pians should inciude the requirement for a barrier in accordance with IBC 1022.7 at <br />level P1 of the norihwest stairway e�closure. <br />" A gate has been added as a barrier in both stairways to prevent travel beyond <br />the level of exit discharge. See ASI �"l, Sheets A1.27-A1.29. <br />3. The plans should include the requirement for a 2" contrasting stripe on the stair nosings <br />in accordance with ANSI A117.1, 504.5. <br />""Sheet A1.29 has been reissued to clarify stair nosing requirements. See AS! #2. <br />4. The general plan notes on S2.05 indicate "hold down system per F/S5.06" F/5.06 <br />appears to indicate a system utilizing Simpson hold-downs. If this is tf�e intent, then the <br />shearwall segment boundary stud detailing should be provided. In other words, it <br />appears as if all of the "Earthbound" detailing is nan-applicable, and the "Simpson" <br />system is inadequately detailed. <br />"'A continuous hold-down system as indicated on sheet 35.06 is �he design <br />intent.
