The construction type of the buitding on Sheet A-1.0 of the permit issued on 8-6-07 has been <br /> revised to a Type III classification. Refer to the graphic 11 x 17 floor plans and elevations which <br /> indicate occupancy, sprinklers, wood construction locations, exits and height of building. With the <br /> classification of Type III we propose to proceed with the wood frame non load bearing interior <br /> walls at the Restrooms. <br /> 2. Type A construction is selected in accordance with Table 601. This table indicates that Type 711 <br /> A construction requires the following: <br /> a. Structural Frame 1 hr <br /> b. Bearing walls Exterior 2 hr <br /> c. Bearing walls Interior 1 hr <br /> d. Nonbearing walls Interior 0 hr <br /> e. Floor construction 1 hr <br /> f. Roof Construction 1 hr <br /> g. Exterior nonbearing walls per Table 602 <br /> All applicable footnotes include: e, c, d. <br /> 3. Sheet A-2.2 indicates the filled in east wall. Refer to the graphic 11 x 17 sheets which indicate <br /> that this is not a required exit. Note the use and occupant loads indicated. <br /> 4. Partial height wails at the restrooms will remain to allow for existing mechanical dudworklunit <br /> hanging from the floor slab over. The owner is proposing dropped ceiling with vinyl covered <br /> board. <br /> a.
